May 4, 2018: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 89 equities making new 52-week lows in Friday’s session. On the NYSE advancers led decliners by about 2.84 to 1 and on the Nasdaq, advancers led decliners by about 2.5 to 1.

Hanesbrands Inc. (NYSE: HBI) dropped about 0.7% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $16.38. Shares closed at $13.51 on Thursday and the stock’s 52-week high is $25.73. Volume of about 6.1 million shares was about 15% below the daily average. The company had no specific news but when it reported Q1 results earlier in the week, the outlook for the rest of the year was quite cautious.

Diebold Nixdorf Inc. (NYSE: DBD) fell by about 5.1% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $11.43 after closing at $12.05 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $28.80. Volume of about 4.4 million was about three times the daily average of about 1.4 million. The company had no specific news.
